2:40pm - 3:00pm Session C - UK Organisation Case Studies

Kids Speech Lab, Shona D’Arcey, Founder

Speech Lab, a Dublin based company, will present on their experience of working with an NHS community trust in the north of England to further the evidence base for their innovation which supports children’s speech and language therapy services. Company based within Yorkshire and Humber.

DocAbode, Dr Taz Aldawoud, Founder & CEO

Dr Taz Aldawoud is the founder and CEO of DocAbode, a company established to address the need to provide a more flexible approach for out of hours GP services. Working with NHS111, DocAbode has been implemented in a number of sites in Yorkshire and has a growing portfolio of services to support NHS workforce transformation. In addition to founding DocAbode, Dr Aldawoud is also a GP who holds a number of regional and national roles including Digital Clinical Champion at NHS England and a Clinical Borad Member for Bradford Districts CCG.

3:00pm - 3:20pm Session D - Irish Organisation Case Studies

Full Health Medical, Dermot Shortt, Board Member & Advisor

Full Health’s mission is to accelerate the growing movement behind people understanding their own medical data. They do this by empowering healthcare providers to deliver automated clinical workflows at scale – covering everything from appointment selection, payments, lab integration, referrals and most importantly - automated written reports.

The presentation will use the example of a UK corporate who used Full Health’s software to deliver annual medicals to an entire workforce, which would have been impossible using legacy workflow.

Kinesis Health Technologies, Seamus Small, CEO & Co-Founder

Kinesis Health Technologies, an award winning digital health company with a focus on falls prevention. Kinesis will present on their experience as participants in the first NHS Testbed programme (2016-2018) in Sheffield and North East London.

Prior to co-founding Kinesis in 2013, Seamus spent over 6 years managing the Technology Research for Independent Living (TRIL) centre, a large multi-site ageing research programme and also managed the start-up phase of the Applied Research for Connected Health (ARCH) centre.
